Frack Free Lancashire Event @ Becconsall, Monday 4th May 2015

Planning for the Becconsall site at Banks in Lancashire has now been issued by Lancashire County Council. Local residents are dismayed that industrial activity might again return to this sensitive site on the Ribble Estuary in very close proximity to wildlife reserves and farmland

The Ribble Estuary is a National Nature Reserve and is an exceptionally important international site for wildlife

A photo call has been arranged at the site tomorrow, Monday 4th May at 11am. All welcome!!! Please bring banners and warm wind proof clothing. Location: Marsh Rd, Southport, Lancashire PR9 8DY, UK

This revised application to perforate and test the well requires a work-over rig and pumps to be brought to the site. It appears that Cuadrilla need to complete the work before the end of May 2015.
